Transportation Impact has garnered local, state and national recognition for its aggressive growth and corporate responsibility. Founded in 2008, the company has grown from a small startup to one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. With nearly 40 employees, and an expanding portfolio of clients and services, the 13,000-square-foot, multi-use building will provide the company and its staff much-needed additional space.
“We have always been very proud to call Emerald Isle home,” Burt said. “Now, we hope that our new facility is something that Emerald Isle can be proud of. Our organization has spent a lot of time and effort, taking careful measures to ensure that our building will add to the beauty of our town, not get in the way of it.
“Local officials and staff have been great to work with and people have been really supportive. Now, we’re excited to finally get the project off the ground.”
Expected to be completed in 2016, the property will have space for company offices, two residential properties and a restaurant offering a panoramic view of the local landscape, ocean, Bogue Sound and the B. Cameron Langston Bridge.
“We are all very excited about the next phase for our company,” Byrd said. “We want to share that excitement with our friends and families in Emerald Isle, Carteret County and throughout North Carolina. We certainly want everyone to know that they are welcomed to attend the ceremony.”
