Dominion.jpg Dominion is one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy, with a portfolio of approximately 24,600 megawatts of generation, 12,400 miles of natural gas transmission, gathering and storage pipeline and 6,455 miles of electric transmission lines. Dominion operates one of the nation's largest natural gas storage systems with 949 billion cubic feet of storage capacity and serves utility and retail energy customers in 12 states.

1448.jpg ElectriCities is a not-for-profit membership based organization that aims to add value to public power communities in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina by consolidating many services needed by municipally-owned utilities. They provide services in emergency assistance, economic development, government relations, marketing and communications, as well as safety and training. ElectriCities also provides management services to North Carolina’s two municipal power agencies - North Carolina Municipal Power Agency Number 1 (NCMPA1) and North Carolina Eastern Municipal Power Agency (NCEMPA). ElectriCities serves NCEMPA communities in North Carolina which includes over 500,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
NCECs.jpg North Carolina’s electric cooperatives serve more than 2.5 million people across North Carolina in 93 of the state’s 100 counties. The 26 electric cooperatives are private, independent and not-for-profit entities committed to providing a high standard of service to residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural customers with at-cost electric service. Each of North Carolina’s electric cooperatives is governed by a board of directors elected from its membership. Members are also owners. North Carolina’s electric cooperatives emphasize the importance of community involvement, integrity, accountability and innovation.
