Greg Singleton graduated from Ahoskie High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fayetteville State University, completed Project Management Professional certification studies, and later pursued paralegal studies in Corporate Law and Civil Litigation.

He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army in 1992 and went on to build an impressive 21-year career in telecommunications, specializing in technical support, operations, and project management.

His passion for community service, economic development and workforce development led him into reentry and rehabilitation work across North Carolina. He developed the Craven, Pamlico, Hertford, Bertie, Gates and Chowan Local Reentry Council, served on the NC Statewide Re-Entry Council Collaborative Legislative Implementation Team, and held leadership roles at Craven Community College (Director of Workforce Readiness) and Central Carolina Community College (Dean of Programs, Workforce and C.E.)

Most recently, Singleton has served in leadership positions with the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections and the OIC of Rocky Mount.

Greg will help lead our workforce development initiatives as well as Career Concourse, and the Career Coach Network.
