Bebe Major joined NC East Alliance in June 2024 as the Event and Program Coordinator, primarily supporting STEM East, the organization’s education initiative. She later transitioned to a full-time role, expanding her responsibilities to include coordinating special events and projects and overseeing office operations for NC East Alliance.

Bebe is a retiree of Beaufort County Community College, where she devoted 30 years to advancing the institution’s mission. Following her retirement, she remained actively involved in education through part-time roles with Beaufort County Community College, Beaufort County Schools, and Martin Community College. Throughout her career in the North Carolina Community College System, Bebe has played a key role in planning and managing a wide range of educational programs, events, and community initiatives. Her passion for education, community engagement, and the coordination of impactful events continues to benefit communities throughout our region.
