Mr. Richard Marshall, Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking with PNC Bank was unanimously elected to the NCEast Alliance Board of Directors at the February board meeting.

Mr. Richard Marshall, Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking with PNC Bank was unanimously elected to the NCEast Alliance Board of Directors at the February board meeting. The board meeting was the first to include three representatives from Northeastern North Carolina – Mark Hamblin, Brady Martin, and Roland Vaughn – resulting from the NCEast Alliance merger with North Carolina’s Northeast Alliance.

“We are excited about welcoming Richard to our board,” said John D. Chaffee, NCEast Alliance President & CEO. “PNC is a strong ally and we greatly appreciate their support, as well as other likeminded organizations. Support for the NCEast Alliance continues to grow as evidenced by a growing number of investors. A strong network of committed partners is crucial to enhance economic growth in eastern NC,” added Chaffee.

Marshall has served as Senior Vice President at PNC Bank since 2012 where he provides prospect deal organization and client management for all companies in excess of $50 million in revenues from the Virginia border to Charleston, SC. Marshall has held various positions in the banking industry over the past 15 years. A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, Marshall earned his BA in Military and Strategic Studies and upon graduation was a C-130 Hercules Navigator. Marshall completed an MA from Johns Hopkins University in International Economics and Western Hemisphere Studies in 2000 and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School in 2002.
