Lisa Jackson has provided leadership in a variety of education roles including teacher, assistant principal, principal, director, community college instructor and most recently as superintendent of Pamlico County Schools for the past eight years. Upon her recent retirement, after 34 years in public education, Ms. Jackson is excited to join the STEM East team and lead the Blue Economy Cluster. Having lived in Eastern NC her entire life she is very familiar with the need for the sustainable use of these resources in our communities. The economic growth and opportunities for our schools, businesses and communities are endless and she is excited to be a part of the STEM EAST team to lead this work!
