Mount Olive College is a private liberal arts college offering programs designed to meet the needs of a diverse student population. Founded in 1951 by the Original Free Will Baptist Church, today Mount Olive College enrolls more than 2,500 students annually at its five locations. The College has more than 700 traditional students and over 3800 working adults enrolled. North Carolina Wesleyan College enrolls about 900 students in the tradional Rocky Mount program in Nash County. Another 1,300 students are enrolled in the evening college program. The student/faculty ratio is about 13 to 1. NCWC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Teacher Education Program is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. Located in Rocky Mount just off of Interstate 95, Wesleyan prepares students for responsible participation in their communities, professional advancement and life-long learning. Regional Development Institute. |
|
|
|
|
|
The Regional Development Institute is a part of ECU’s consolidated Regional Development Services, and is the way that local governments and non-profits access the vast resources of the University system. RDI staff can provide educational training, work with communities and counties on planning and development, help identify grant funding, and a myriad of other services. RDI also has extensive resources available to assist with statistical research in many different areas. |
